[What the role is]


The Safety Regulation Group (SRG)'s mission is to ensure safety of civil aviation operations in Singapore and operations of Singapore aircraft worldwide.

Upholding a safe aviation environment and the highest standards in aviation safety is the bedrock to ensure the safety of the travelling public and people, property on the ground.

A safe operating environment also underpins the sustained development of the air hub and the aviation industry in Singapore.

[What you will be working on]


You will be driving and formulating safety-related policies and strategies to safeguard Singapore's civil aviation safety interest, strengthen safety oversight and risk management efforts, and guide our international engagements.

You will have the opportunity to drive and manage key initiatives, including the formulation of the National Aviation Safety Plan , collaborations with industry organisations such as the Flight Safety Foundation's Asia Pacific Centre for Aviation Safety, and development of action plans to address new areas of need.

You will also be expected to provide representation at major international forums and expert bodies such as ICAO panels and technical working groups.

[What we are looking for]

  • Training in any relevant discipline
  • At least 5 years of related working experience. Experience in aviation, strategy development, planning or international relations will be an advantage
  • Inquisitive, selfmotivated and teamoriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and drive winwin goals across key stakeholders
