The Responsibilities:

  • To ensure HSEQ best in class performances

Technical Scope

Implementing Wastewater management tools:

  • Online balances (via PI) to monitor effluent production of each process sector
  • Advanced KPI for wastewater management
  • Weekly forecast of wastewater and daily adjustment to WWTP
  • Monthly balances to check WWTP costs and provide accurate follow up
  • Monthly reports about waste management quality produced to WWTP and treated water quantity/quality in relation with HSE department and good practices.

Managing regular smooth communication with WWTP partner:

  • Daily communication and regular updates
  • Participating in regular technical meetings
  • Following technical improvements about wastewater
Anticipating consequences of process upsets on wastewater in preventing wastewater high pollution peaks:

  • Specific communication with WWTP partner in case of need, managing additional sampling plan if necessary
  • Developing contingency plans in case of pollution peaks
  • Training operation people and/or trainer about wastewater good practices.

Health, Safety, Enviornment, Quality and Management Systems

  • Implements rules / procedures / good practices based on Integrated Management System
  • Detect and address potential risks in HSEQ field
  • Involved in emergency plan development, emergency event management and investigation
  • Implements improvement programs in accordance with site directions and priorities in HSEQ field

The Requirement:

  • Degree in chemical engineering. Significant experience in chemical process would be an added advantage. Practical knowledge in chemical engineering.
  • Risks management related to hazardous chemical process
  • Crossfunctional management (project management).
