The Hilton internship is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to your field of study or career interest.

It provides the opportunity for career exploration and development, and to learn new skills. The duration of the internship is 6 months, starting from 29 January 2024.

What will I be doing?
As the Intern, Feasibility & Investment Analysis - Asia Pacific (APAC), you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Proforma Analysis:
The feasibility function primarily focuses on proposed hotels.

A typical proforma analysis includes a site / hotel evaluation from the viewpoint of its utility for operation as a hotel, an analysis of the neighbourhood / city, understanding hotel demand patterns, determining a competitive set for the proposed hotel, investigating new supply entering the market, projecting hotel demand and average daily rate, and benchmarking costs against other Hilton properties, competitors, and industry standards.


  • Investment Analysis & Valuations: The proforma serves as a basis for investment analysis and valuations, which support the decisionmaking process of our internal clients, which include Development, Real Estate & Asset Management, Operations, Finance, and Executive Management. Prepare memos summarizing projections and valuations and brief internal clients and Executive Management on methodology and findings as required.
  • Underwriting Assumptions: Recording underwriting assumptions and assisting with Development Authority memos and Investment Committee documents, as required
  • Research: Conduct research on a variety of hotel related topics and maintain databases of statistics and market research
  • Financial Models: Utilize, maintain, and update sophisticated financial, supplydemand, and proforma models
  • Meetings: Attend development, real estate, and other internal and stakeholder meetings as required
  • Strategic Projects: Support the team's collaboration with other functions to deliver strategic analysis for various business priorities
