Job Description - Analyst programmer / Project Support Engineer

To work for all stages in the Software Development Life Cycle with minimum supervision including but not limited to:

  • Work with assigned supervisor as part of the team to meet project targets and quality objectives.
  • Support day-to-day operation of assigned projects.
  • Log and track issues raised by customer.
  • Troubleshoot and provide resolution for raised issues independently or jointly with remote technical delivery team.
  • Perform defect fixing, design & development and unit testing, if assigned
  • Perform system integration testing, deployment and pre-UAT verification of service requests and defect fixes.
  • Provide regular progress updates to assigned supervisor. 8. Create and update relevant documents on all executed work in a timely manner
  • Timely delivery of assigned work with quality, meeting set expectation.
  • Interact effectively with team members and customers at all levels.

Qualifications & Requirements:

You should process the following qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Has 12 years of handson working experience in projects relating to eBusiness / eGovernment
  • Must possess indepth knowledge and extensive handson experience in at least two of these technologies: o Core java, OO Concepts, Java platform with JSP/Servlets/XML/Web Services o Spring Framework o Struts Framework o Database experience on Oracle and MS SQL Server
  • Has the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Has the ability to manage code deployment and document configuration changes.
  • Must be analytical, systematic, detail oriented, quality conscious, with an eye toward simplicity.
  • Possess strong problem solving skills.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have positive attitude to meet new challenges.
