What does the job need to deliver? How is it measurable?:

  • Set up centralized 'headquarters' digital hub to support stakeholders' needs and align resources with long-term digital engagement strategy.
  • Independently assess digital project components and provide conceptual analytics across all digital platforms, optimize performance and functions. Plan, design and implement new digital products that benefit stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and project leaders to create content and other digital assets.
  • Establish frameworks for measuring digital channel performance, including KPIs, benchmarks, and acceptable ROIs.
  • Evolve digital strategy, create and manage related policy and guidelines to align with overall organizational priorities and goals.
  • Work with a variety of content providers and departments to keep digital properties uptodate.
  • In anticipation of needs, recruit, select, source and hire vendors. Manage relationships and assess performance to enable the adaptation of products.

Key Accountabilities/Duties

  • Formulate strategies and plans for enhancing the digital channels. Undertake analyses and concept papers pertaining related web and digital services.
  • Work with teams and other project leaders/stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies and provide perspective for adoption where appropriate. Create digital strategy, website policy and related guidelines in alignment with overall communications priorities, policy directions and goals.
  • Manage, architect and develop digital products and services by securing support from project owners and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for planning/ design/ developing and testing digital projects.
  • Critically assess server strategy and advise on new approaches in response to changing conditions and needs.
  • Execute projects ensuring content/services meet established timelines and standards.
  • Formulate policies and procedures for the efficient management of digital communications activities.
  • Prepare budget; manage programs; procure resources; monitor; and report expenditures.
