Responsibilities:
Middleware Strategy Development: Drive middleware integration strategy, roadmap and adoption of industry best practices or methodologies. Oversee the integration of data or functions across multiple systems to ensure seamless and efficient operation. Development of integration plans, identification, and utilization of appropriate middleware to optimize the connectivity and performance of applications across target environments. Collaborate with offshore development teams. Manage integration process, from requirements gathering and analysis to testing, deployment, and maintenance. Handle risk assessment and mitigation, cost account, and earned value management. Azure Cloud Integration: Design, develop, and manage integrations using the Azure Cloud Stack, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and other relevant Azure services. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of integration solutions. Maintenance support: Creation and monitoring of SQL Server Jobs and Azure Web Jobs. Creation and monitoring of Azure Data Factory data pipelines. Business Requirements Alignment:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. Translate business needs into detailed specifications and integration requirements. Expertise in comparing integration approaches and assessing their relative strengths and limitations in terms of meeting business goals. Articulate the value of integration solutions to the technical team leads and stakeholders. Solution Optimisation:
Assess current integration processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Implement tracking and analytics to monitor the performance of the integration or middleware solutions. Identify areas for improvement and optimize the system's speed, reliability, and accuracy The ideal candidate should possess:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience with application integration, middleware solutions or data interface management. Strong proficiency in Azure Cloud services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid. Experience with MuleSoft and Boomi is highly desirable. Technical working experience in integration technologies such as Service-Oriented Architecture, API-led Connectivity, Middleware, Web Service, Enterprise Service Bus, Microservices or Azure Cloud Integration Platforms. Experience in cloud or web applications development is an advantage. Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
