Job Descriptions:

  • Ability to independently handle the various types of API standards Rotating equipments. including their other related components
  • Take the lead in the preparation of inquiry packages, in the technical clarification/evaluation of Vendor's technical offers, and in the kickoff meeting/preinspection meeting with an interdiscipline collaboration.
  • Prepare technical specifications including basic mechanical design data sheets, detail design documentation & Inspection/Procedure documentation requests for Rotating equipment packages as shown the above.
  • Prepare technical bid evaluation, clarification with Vendors for technical confirmation for Rotating equipment packages as shown the above.
  • Review the vendor package design including 3D model (Navis Works) and follow up on the required approvals.
  • Review / approve vendor documents in line with client / contractor's requirements.
  • Follow up of all engineering issues for module engineering and close any outstanding issues as promptly as possible.
  • Attend project meeting / follow up meeting with vendors, client, third party etc.
  • Support to meet the requirements for obtaining DNV-GL, complying with local regulations such as NOPSEMA.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) of rotating equipment package along with client / contractor's requirements / applicable engineering standard such as ASME PTC10 and ISO 121
  • Assist construction team during module fabrication, equipment installation, and assist the precommissioning and commissioning team during yard testing.
  • Assist procurement team as required during the ordering stage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Written and spoken English with proficiency in Japanese has an advantage.

Machinery Condition Analyst Vibration:
Category II (ISO

  • 7 years of experience as Lead Design Engineer in Mechanical Engineering Rotating field in Power Plant, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas Projects.
  • At least 1 year of experience for FPSO project/proposal as Rotating equipment design engineer.
  • Passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam for US

Professional Engineer Mechanical:
Thermal and Fluid systems and Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Under P.E. licensing process at the state level by professional licensing boards in the United States.

  • Work experiences on Compression Module & Chemical Injection Module planning for FPSOs in terms of the preparation of module layout, material handling of the equipment in modules etc.
  • Contribution as a lead engineer for rotating equipment design for any types of projects such as feasibility study, FEED, LSTK, and EPCM.
  • Strong engineering knowledge in Rotating equipment for centrifugal compressor packages, associated parts, layout and, etc. as well as API codes & standards.
  • Knowledge of static packages like suction scrubbers, filters, heat exchangers etc. as well as API, ASTM, ASME codes & standards.
  • Willing to travel to go to module fabrication yards, vendor works for meeting / coordination, FATs, client meetings etc.
  • Familiar and aware of collaboration between interdiscipline engineering activities.
