CRITERIA:
Current students studying in Universities which are based in Singapore

INTERNSHIP DURATION:
minimum 20 weeks full time commitment with the option of extending up to a further 12 weeks.

Intern - Product Characterization

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:

  • Gain knowledge in semiconductor product characterization, for example Process-Voltage-Temperature variations, and the latest semiconductor interface technology such as DDR5/LPDDR
  • Understand industrial product testing methodology such as shmoo plot
  • Be familiar with automated test equipment and other bench equipment (temperature control unit (TCU), etc)
  • Able to perform first level bench troubleshooting to find out the causes of failed tests
  • Enhance programming and data analysis skills
  • Build effective verbal and written communication skills

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

  • Student will explore the semiconductor product characterization engineering environment, and have a good understanding on product, characterization, ATE (Automate Test Equipment), bench equipment and latest semiconductor interface technology like DDR and PCIe interface
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The project involves:

  • Conduct tests using automated test equipment (ATE), as well as Bench and collect parametric data across process, voltage and temperature
  • Data analysis and characterisation of the product performance
  • Generate scripts to automate data post processing and analysis
