Roles & Responsibilities



  • To ensure the quality of site installation is consistent with company policy requirements, approved drawings, international standards, and meeting customer specifications.
  • To inspect the job as per approved procedures, client's specifications, codes, standards, and drawings.
  • To ensure compliance with HSE regulations and requirements.
  • To ensure quality of inspected items to meet project requirements and standards.

Job Accountabilities


  • To ensure that construction quality aligns with the approved Project Quality Plan.
  • Monitoring day-to-day quality control activities and maintaining effective coordination with the construction team members to perform necessary quality control activities.
  • Reading, understanding, and implementing project-related ITP, procedures, and specification requirements.
  • Reviewing documents and drawings as per specifications.
  • Responsible for witnessing all site inspections, surveillance, and quality control functions as assigned in accordance with approved quality control procedures and project specifications.
  • Conducting Mechanical Equipment Goods receiving Inspection and liaising with clients, PRE, and vendors.
  • Reviewing test certificates and records, performing data entry (where applicable), and maintaining filing and record-keeping.
  • Witnessing Load Test Inspection of various equipment.
  • Conducting Rotating and Static Equipment alignment Inspections.
  • Verifying and inspecting Piping materials.
  • Checking Mechanical completion and safety equipment records.
  • Participating in Discipline acceptance walks for Mechanical and safety equipment.
  • Ensuring a smooth work environment presentation and coordinating client site activities.
  • Performing Boroscopic inspections of Equipment skids.
  • Conducting Pressure safety valve testing.
  • Ensuring Material verification against MSR, cutting plan, and MVR Report.
  • Ensuring cutting plans align with actual material cutting.
  • Performing fit-up inspections against drawing/WPS.
  • Carrying out daily surveillance checks on welding and documenting reports.
  • Conducting visual inspections and maintaining reports.
  • Following up on QAI/NCR/audit findings for closure.
  • Coordinating with the NDE team for inspections and report compilation.
  • Compiling and submitting final documents for client/surveyor acceptance.
  • Maintaining up-to-date document filing and verification.
  • Attending daily tool box meetings punctually.

Knowledge and Skills


  • Proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings and specification requirements.
  • Knowledgeable in welding, NDT, quality assurance, and quality control systems.
  • Experience in Fabrication, NDT, welding inspection, Load Testing, Work Environment, Material Handling, and basic computer skills including Microsoft programs.

Education and Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in engineering.
  • Preferably with welding inspection & NDT certificates.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
