About Our Team

We are the Frontier AI Lab within the Shanda Group, committed to the advancement of cutting-edge algorithms, currently focusing on large language models (LLMs). Our primary area of interest lies in the realm of mental health, where we gather real-world data from various healthcare facilities, institutions, and research centers globally to develop and explore models and algorithms. Our mission is to deliver state-of-the-art algorithms tailored for mental health applications, making a distinctive contribution to this research domain by publishing our discoveries in top-tier publications and conferences. Additionally, we are involved in creating mental health-related tools, such as online AI therapy sessions and diagnostic AI systems.

Position Overview

We are in search of an AI Scientist to join our dynamic team, dedicated to propelling research at the intersection of LLM and mental health. The perfect candidate will possess a strong scientific background and the ability to independently conceive and execute advanced research projects to drive scientific advancements in the mental health sector.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with data engineers to define and enhance data requirements, ensuring superior data quality and accessibility.
  • Conduct thorough research at the crossroads of large language models (LLM) and mental health with the goal of achieving impactful research outcomes.
  • Lead collaborative interdisciplinary projects, engaging with subject matter experts to guarantee the scientific and practical significance of research avenues and results.
  • Compose and publish high-caliber research papers and take part in international conferences to present research insights and technological progress.
  • Regularly evaluate project advancements and adapt research directions and methodologies to tackle new obstacles.

Job Requirements

  • Hold a Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • Possess 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrate a track record of published advanced deep learning research papers in reputable journals or conferences.
  • Exhibit a profound comprehension of LLM or multimodal models with practical application experience.
  • Display exceptional cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working closely with data professionals, engineers, and domain experts.
  • Show a keen interest and some familiarity with the mental health sector, with a preference for prior research involvement in this domain.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English is a bonus, as candidates will need to engage with Chinese/Mandarin-speaking colleagues in China for work-related purposes.
