Role Overview
Reporting to the Group CFO, the Head of Group Finance oversees Group reporting, statutory reporting, and compliance for Console Connect. In close collaboration with regional offices, this role maintains reporting quality and timeliness to both shareholders according to the group reporting schedule, overseeing external reporting at both the group and subsidiary levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team supporting business objectives with reporting compliance at both group and subsidiary levels
- Supervise extensive financial consolidation for the organization
- Develop new processes and reporting strategies to establish a robust financial reporting framework
- Collaborate closely with internal and external auditors during audits, providing essential documentation and explanations for consolidated financial statements and related transactions
- Ensure compliance in reporting and disclosures as mandated by statutory bodies, audits, and internal procedures
- Create and implement financial reporting packages in compliance with shareholder reporting requirements
- Lead a highly skilled remote team from HQ, fostering strong collaboration with other corporate finance functions
- Implement relevant financial reporting standards across the organization for group and entity financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAP
- Manage relationships with external partners to deliver high-quality financial advisory services, enhancing the overall financial reporting framework
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance
- A Professional Accounting Qualification e.g. ACCA or equivalent
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience with 5 years managing a global team remotely in a multicultural setting
- Familiarity with IFRS and group consolidation. Knowledge of lease accounting is a significant advantage
- Understanding of financial reporting in the telecommunications or NaaS industry is preferred
- Prior experience in an international audit firm with exposure to group reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Candidates with fewer years of experience will be considered for an AVP role
- Leadership qualities with a demonstrated ability to forge strong working relationships at various levels
