Balyasny Asset Management (BAM) is a global investment firm managing over $21 billion in assets. At present, BAM has a team of 160+ portfolio managers and 1,200+ investment professionals spread across 19 offices globally, engaging in six different investing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Systematic investment teams and Product team to drive enhancements.
  • Develop predictive analytics for enhancing trading platform efficiency.
  • Oversight of Execution platforms' daily operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external parties for technical issue resolution and strategic upgrades.

Position Requirements:

  • Prior experience in front office applications in Hedge Fund, Banking, or financial technology.
  • Knowledge of Systematic, Ultra Low, and/or Low Latency trading applications.
  • Understanding of Equity, FX, and Futures markets.
  • Proficiency in FIX protocol and managing complex FIX networks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with expertise in Linux and scripting.
  • Development experience in Java, C#, C++, and Python.
  • Passion for automation to boost operational efficiencies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
