Since its launch in mid-2019, we are now the fastest growing online car marketplace in Singapore, and we have big plans for 2023 and beyond

We are looking for an independent individual to work in our Singapore team as a head of finance. As Head of Finance, you will be responsible to lead the finance and admin function of the Group.

**Core Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Review/Preparation of consolidated annual financial statements and annual reports.
  • Perform handson monthly Group and subgroup consolidations, and financial reporting in accordance with internal/external requirements.
  • Review/Preparation of consolidated annual Group forecast and budget.
  • Provide effective analysis of monthly Group consolidated results against budget and previous year.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Drive quarterly cash flow projections, rolling forecasts, estimates and budget preparation.
  • Review of the Group's monthly forecast submission.
  • Preparation of schedules necessary for audits.
  • Keep abreast of new technical accounting, reporting and regulatory matters and updating/training finance personnel in business units on new requirements arising therefrom
  • Undertake projects on an adhoc basis such as system implementation project
  • Support management reporting requirements and adhoc projects as required

Office Administration

  • Supervise and mentor administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective office operations.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and systems to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and maintain a positive work environment
  • Oversee facilities management, including office space planning, maintenance, and equipment procurement
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure costeffective procurement of office supplies and services.
  • Coordinate and oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and HR administration processes
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection and health and safety regulations.

Job Specifications

  • Minimum Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • CPA or ACCA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in audit (with clients listed in Stock Exchanges) and/or corporate finance (in companies listed in the Singapore or US Stock Exchange).
  • Knowledge in IFRS/SFRS or US GAAP.
