Singapore Hilton Full time

The Hilton internship is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to your field of study or career interest.

It provides the opportunity for career exploration and development, and to learn new skills. The duration of the internship is 6 months, starting from 29 January 2024.

What will I be doing?
As the Intern, Marketing & eCommerce Consulting - Asia Pacific (APAC), you will be responsible for performing the following tasks at the highest standards:
Support and empower trading hotels towards achieving their commercial objectives through

  • Planning, managing and executing marketing learning activations and events (such as webinars, learning festivals, learning gamification) to support upskilling, reskilling and empowerment of hotel marketing team members
  • Develop and manage hotel empowerment resources and assets on the Marketing & eCommerce (MEC) Support Hub, the goto ondemand selfhelp portal for hotel marketing team members
  • Lead and support with Digital Performance reviews and analysis in collaboration with Managers and propose recommended followup actions to drive commercial performance
  • Deliver reactive consulting support based on hotel queries and needs through Salesforce platform in accordance to established service standards
  • Manage project vendors to ensure high performance and data quality on ThoughtSpot, a hotelfacing reporting tool for digital and paid channel performance
  • Development of hotel empowerment resources and assets within the Fliggy x International Onboarding playbook
Support effective opening and transitioning of hotels through

  • Lead in the development of hotel selfguide toolkits for termination and conversions
  • Assist in project management of APAC opening framework migration onto cloudbased platform to automate new hotel onboarding process
  • Support in development and deployment of deploy communication plan for internal engagement on hotel opening progress, key milestones and activities, achievements, etc.

In this role, you will

  • Project Management: Develop skills and competencies in managing complex projects and corporate initiatives with Hilton internal teams and external agency partners, with support and guidance from a team of experienced Managers
  • Communication: Develop effective communication skills by engaging with Hotel Marketing team members and aboveproperty teams
  • Analytical Competencies: Build analytical competencies and capabilities through hotel consulting cases and performance reviews with commercial performance data of hotels

Digital Competencies:

Learn and build on Digital Marketing & eCommerce knowledge in context of today's hospitality marketing landscape and trading environment.

Gain insights into marketing strategies, campaign planning, and audience engagement while supporting the development of hotel empowerment resources.

  • Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate seamlessly with various functional teams, both within and outside the region. Develop effective crossfunctional communication and project management skills within a team environment.
  • Chinese OTA Platform: Gain valuable insights into ecommerce platforms and online marketplaces. Contribute to the creation of resources to facilitate the onboarding of hotels onto the Chinese OTA platform, such as Hilton Fliggy Store. With opportunities to propose process optimizations for hotel content onboarding and management.
  • Leadership: Understand and manage internal stakeholders to achieve collective commercial success
