The Senior DevOps Manager will support the implementation of a digitalization strategy for Group Technology and Networks aimed at loosening the IT architecture, increasing organizational agility, and enabling an API-driven digital ecosystem.

Make an Impact by

  • Manage and lead an agile application team to deliver network software projects like Network Service Bus and Service Orchestration using CI/CD and Agile scrum practices.
  • Work closely with the business to gather requirements and translate them into epic and user stories for the team to deliver and implement.
  • In charge of project planning and management activities such as procurement for the team and acting as the Product Owner to prioritize the backlog for the team.
  • Collaborate with the internal platform engineering team to deliver the operating environment for container-based microservices meeting high availability, performance, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance, security, and operability in mind.
  • Ensure software releases align and follow the organization's internal software release and deployment process for various projects.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting or root cause analysis of platform issues or incidents with teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and solution/architecture simplification for the services/products.
  • Research and recommend the latest relevant technologies and trends for continuous improvement of platforms/services/products.

Skills for Success

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in software delivery for large scale transformational or digitalization projects
  • Experience in leading and managing Agile projects as a Product Owner and usage of related tools like JIRA.
  • Experience in project planning, management activities including financial and procurement.
  • Experience in business requirements analysis and translating them for implementation and delivery.
  • Experience in service management of projects or products in a production environment.
  • Understanding of cloud computing/container deployment and management like AWS/Azure/OpenStack/Kubernetes(K8s) etc.
  • Understanding of open source software development and related automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins, SoapUI, SonarQube.
  • Interest in new technologies in software development and automation, cybersecurity, and cloud computing exploring how to incorporate new technology into product delivery.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proactive with excellent problem-solving, communications, and presentation skills.
