We are looking for a Digital Finance Functional Expert to make a difference

What will you do?

A. Support

  • Provide consistent guidance to all ERP on DFL solution and model
  • Answer any finance technical question on DFL to users
  • Update DFL functional documentation
  • Prepare information for DFL Yammer group
  • Support BPEs for UATs
  • Identify and share best practices across ERP
  • Consult on process enhancement
  • Evolve and create functional trainings for DFL users
  • Coordination with DFL technical run BPEs for daily tasks/ tickets
  • Support on DFL core evolutions together with the Solution technical team
  • Ensure system availability and support during peak month end / year end closing periods

B. Collaboration

  • Interaction with Finance Teams and potentially Schneider Digital Local Teams
  • Work closely with Schneider Digital counterparts in the Central Team
  • Support key users on ad hoc basis and during the closing period
  • Support communication to Finance stakeholders (and potentially non-Finance)

C. Finance expertise requisites

  • Deep knowledge of DFL / ERP flows
  • Expert of DFL analytical tools
  • Expert of DFL data model
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS accounting rules and Controlling Handbook (RCoAs)
  • Good understanding of E2E processes impacting ERP finance flows
  • Ability to work independently on specific key functional topics
  • Identify key structuring topics which are not part of the DFL core model but might be needed as enhancements
  • Abstracting complex Finance topics into the needed level depending on the audience
  • Prepare documents for decision making from Global teams and Key Stakeholders (e.g. Consolidation team, CFOs, CAOs, CoCes ...)

D. Initial Scope

  • Secure Power (APAC & Global SPOC)
  • Additionally, each Functional Expert is taking responsibility over a specific Subject Matter (e.g. Business Finance, Direct CCO...). The intention of this is to coordinate related subject matter items / Solution evolutions with Technical teams / Global Teams / rest of the Functional Experts). For this particular job opening, Subject Matter Expertise is to be defined

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Education: University degree in finance / business administration / recognized Accounting degree
  • Experience: 7+ years in Operations/Business Finance roles, International experience working in multi countries mix cultural context
  • Skills requirements:
  • Finance background in SE (and ideally other companies). Associated local network ideally on both finance and SI sides.
  • Knowledge of finance reporting and performance management processes
  • Accounting / Management Control expertise
  • Advanced IT user knowledge, particularly ERPs (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Understanding of accounting flows translated into ERP flows
  • Willingness to work at a detailed level with Key Users / End Users to ensure that target processes are understood and implemented / sustained
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, identify gaps, decompose high-level information into details, and drive decision-making
  • Agile and change agent mindset
  • Process optimization skills
  • Teamwork & collaboration-oriented mindset
  • Efficient and proactive communication using multiple channels, face-to-face, written, video, web sites, social media etc.
  • Interpersonal skills: listening, open-minded, curious, collaborative, team-player, facilitator, negotiator, sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work in a sometimes unstructured and evolving context
  • Ability to work in an international remote environment, with strong autonomy, acknowledging cultural differences
  • Able to handle multiple activities in parallel
  • Well-developed skills in MS tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
