Responsibilities:

  • Cutting and Shaping: Measure and mark materials according to specifications while using cutting tools to shape them precisely.
  • Assembly and Joinery: Join and assemble components using nails, screws, glue, and other fasteners, ensuring a strong and stable construction.
  • Cabinetry and Furniture: Craft and assemble cabinets, furniture pieces, and other wooden items based on design specifications.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other construction professionals, such as architects, contractors, and other tradespeople, to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials.
  • Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
  • Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to adapt to new techniques and technology in the carpentry field.
