Lecturer (Landscape Architecture)

The appointee must be competent in the following Landscape Architectural domains:

  • Material and Technology
  • Environmental Science
  • Digital Representation
  • Other upcoming trends in the LA profession
  • Long-Term Plan & the Master Plan
Knowledge in the following Landscape Architectural domains would be advantageous:

  • BIM for LA knowledge
  • Digital Documentation for Design and Construction
  • Sustainable Design in Green Buildings
  • Biophilic design
  • Landscape Architectural Design and Theory
[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:
-

  • Conduct lessons, create teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning of students
  • Embark on teaching pedagogical initiatives for effective students' learning
  • Keep abreast profession's trends, develop and maintain uptodate teaching curriculum to enhance students' employability
  • Enhance students' learning through mentorship in competitions, internships and other activities
  • Collaborate with other staff and/or industry for projects that support Skills Framework in Landscape and Design Initiatives

  • Accredited Landscape Architect is an advantage
