Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables the bank with an efficient infrastructure focused on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability, and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the Bank's operational processes and aim to delight our business partners through multiple banking delivery channels.
Job Description
We're seeking an experienced JavaScript developer proficient in developing user interface components, implementing well-known workflows, and ensuring robustness in applications. Collaboration, design excellence, and product quality are key.
Responsibilities
- Develop user-facing features
- Design highly responsive web interfaces
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries
- Translate designs into high-quality code
- Optimize performance for various devices and browsers
- Coordinate with different teams
- Contribute from conception to completion of projects
- Proficient in JavaScript and DOM manipulation
- Strong CSS skills
- Understanding and its core principles
- Experience in React App development
- Skills in popular workflows (Flux or Redux)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks/libraries
- Familiarity with newer ES6 specifications
- Knowledge of isomorphic React a plus
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms
- Proficient in front-end build pipelines and tools
- Ability to interpret business requirements
- Skills in benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git
- Team player
- Effective time-management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
