The Role

We are currently looking for a Project Contracts Manager to join BW Offshore. This position will be based in our Singapore office.

Your Responsibilities

Manage and execute the contract-to-pay process (from tender phase to contract close-out) in the project and/or prospects assigned. This includes: Handle quotations; create bid recommendations and contractual documents for tenders Respond to variation order requests and related correspondences Draft correspondences, variation orders, variation requests; establish counterclaim / disputes strategies Ensure clear and accurate records of contractual matters are maintained and monitor key dates as per contract definitions Lead, supervise, and train the project contract management team members assigned. This includes, providing inputs on their performance reviews Maintain strict confidentiality for all contractual and commercial documentation and data, especially during tendering phases, and aim to maximize value and minimize risk for BWO in all aspects Develop and execute project contracting plans Incorporate client's flow-down requirements into Tenders, Contracts, and Project contracting plans Adhere to contracting practices, procedures, and standards outlined within BWO's Management System Carry out project contracting duties including leading negotiations, troubleshooting, and acting as an escalation point for issues between project contract team members and various stakeholders and contractors/subcontractors Ensure all project-required contractors and subcontractors meet relevant qualification procedures Provide regular status and progress reports to clients, projects, and management Collaborate with the Sourcing Analyst to enhance business intelligence for relevant markets, cost drivers, contractors, and subcontractors Report any issues or concerns related to daily activities or cross-department activities involving Legal, Insurance, Finance, HSEQ, and other departments promptly to the Supply Chain Contract Manager

Education And Experience

Possess a relevant degree or equivalent experience Ideally, ten (10) years of relevant experience, mainly in contracting Extensive experience in technical, contractual, and commercial issues related to design, engineering, fabrication, and construction contracts for Offshore Facilities in the Oil and Gas industry Considerable experience in claims management, claims prevention such as Extension of Time Claims, Disruption claims, and/or Quantum claims Experience as a Quantity Surveyor is advantageous International exposure in the offshore oil and gas industry is beneficial
