The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Executive, Marketing and Events, to join the Outreach and Marketing Communications team at the College of Engineering. You will play an important role in the support and organisation of the College's promotional and outreach events and activities .

You will execute the full spectrum of administrative and operational support (pre-event to post-event) for the outreach events. You will also assist with the post-event reporting and analysis of the outreach events, to further refine and improve future events to achieve the outreach objectives of the College. In your course of work, you will be required to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of the events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full spectrum of administrative and operational support (pre-event to post-event) for outreach activities and events in areas such as coordination, purchases, logistics, marketing communications, development and design of event collaterals and social media content, collation of information and data, etc. This will involve the coordination and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development, communication and upkeeping of the budgets, plans, timelines and priorities, including administrative requirements of the events and activities.
  • Prepare and maintain proper records of design assets, project documentation, purchases, expenditure, payment to student helpers, etc.
  • Monitor event budgets and track expenses and provide timely and accurate updates and reports on adjustments and progress to reporting manager.
  • Identify gaps in operational and administrative issues and communicate them internally for resolution.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business/ Marketing/ Event Management or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in marketing, event management or outreach. Knowledge of the higher education market in Singapore is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in design, photo and video editing software such as Adobe suite and Canva is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, combined with the ability to effectively set priorities and goals and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders of various levels.
