Responsibilities:

  • To support the lab manager in ensuring that the laboratory area runs smoothly and effectively through good workflow organization
  • Prioritizing testing that is necessary to comply with regulations and that is critical
  • Assist the lab manager in making sure that the Laboratory area's resource needs are fulfilled by
  • Organize the workforce to meet the team's KPIs in regard to TATs and particular customer requirements.
  • Ensuring that there is staff that is appropriately trained and/or competent to meet TAT standards.
  • Ensure that any operational or productivity difficulties are immediately brought to the lab manager's attention.
  • The protocols for the laboratory should be evaluated and revised as necessary.
  • Verifies test results before providing them to clients.

  • Assisting the lab manager with the execution of scheduled training for test procedure, equipment operation, and other laboratory operation procedures for technicians and other lab employees.
  • Technical troubleshooting for issues with test procedures or equipment.
  • To create and carry out a protocol for technique or equipment validation.
  • To start or update forms and procedures.
  • Perform validations of the methods.
  • To show leadership and cooperation when chosen by the lab manager for any ICs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement, ensure that roles are clear and aligned, and ensure the effective use of employee resources.
  • To ensure that systems implemented are adhered to and monitored in conjunction with Quality & Compliance Department.
  • Be a part of workplace safety management techniques to raise standards for health and safety in the workplace, protect your own safety and the safety of others, and promote best practices while achieving continuous improvement.
  • To ensure that any customer / sales/ ASM enquiries and/or issues/complaints are responded to in a timely fashion and that customers / sales/ ASM are aware of any delays in testing
  • To ensure that all internal and external audits are completed with the team together if needed.
  • To ensure that all corrective actions assigned from internal and external audits are completed as required.
  • Participate in workplace safety management practices to improve safety and health in the workplace environment to keep yourself and others safe, and to achieve continuous improvement and recognition of best practice.
  • Maintain equipment by performing assigned maintenance activities & troubleshoot unexpected problems.
