Job Description:

  • Reviews and approves all journal entries and maintains recurring journals
  • Reviews Payroll interface journals, Approves journals for Payroll recharge, Provision for Bonus/CPF
  • Generates Currency Revaluations
  • Reviews bank reconciliation and monthly GL audit schedules
  • Reviews draft ECI and drafts Corporate Tax returns for submission to BP & Grp Tax.
  • Reviews Property Tax Assessment from IRAS to accept or object to assessments and computations of income tax, Property Tax for monthly provision
  • Reviews quarterly GST report and does GST Net Receivable/Payable adjustment journal upon submission of GST return
  • Supports budgeting and forecasting activities for the entities within a business unit
  • Supports Finance and Treasury teams on FATCA compliance matters
  • Reviews and finalises closing and reconciliation for financial reporting
  • Project accounting to ensure compliance to statutory / GAAP requirements
  • Approves WBS elements for project financing and related WBS elements
  • Submits request for budget transfer approval
  • Reviews & Approve FA transactions manages calculation and recording of depreciation of assets, asset acquisition, asset under construction asset retirement obligations
  • Reviews and finalises periodend Fixed Asset reports as per the agreed service level agreements to ensure FA schedules tally to GL balance.
  • Conducts recording of revaluation gains / losses and assists in periodic stock take as required
  • Conducts periodic impairment reviews and raises journals for impairment provisions for tangible and intangible assets
