Account & HR Assistant

- Enter GL entries, accruals, prepayment, purchases
- Able to perform accurate data entry to computerised accounting
- Maintain proper filing of journals, ensure all records are in proper order
- Receives and processes all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment
- Prepares account payable/account receivable, bank book, petty cash and general ledger
- Prepare monthly schedules for balance sheet accounts
- Prepare GST & assist in taxation matters
- Able to adapt to the various functions within the HR department
- Updating of staff information in the database and Personnel File Maintenance and ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Handle recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, employees' engagement & relations, performance management, safety compliance, etc
- Conduct newcomer's orientation process and briefing of employment terms and conditions
- Arrange & coordinate staff training enrolment and update of training records
- Maintain employees' leave record and medical claims
- Maintain, upkeep company & departmental documentation of operational policy, rules and regulation
- Maintain, upkeep and participate in ISO, BizSafe and OHSAS audit
- Communicate with external vendors on accommodation for foreign employees
- Other duties assigned by Management
Requirements:
- GCE "O" Level / Diploma in Accountancy equivalent with some working experiences
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the related field
- Good understanding of account & human resources functions
- Possess excellent Verbal and Communication Skills with good interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Employment Act, MOM regulations and practices
- Competent, open minded, quick learner, positive attitude and independent with strong organizational skills
- Selfmotivated and able to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fastpaced environment
