Job Overview

In this role, you will be in charge of managing the firm's current investments and exploring new business prospects in the real estate sector. Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) is essential to interact with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.

  • Oversee Real Estate Investment Projects
  • Establish and nurture connections with relevant parties
  • Create proposals
  • Conduct surveys across different countries and compile reports
  • Analyze company operations and finances
  • Conduct case studies on related projects
  • Handle documentation tasks, including verification, contract translation, and legal review
  • Perform investment assessments
  • Prepare detailed reports
  • Collaborate with the headquarters' finance team on financing matters
  • Supervise development initiatives
  • Review financial outcomes and reports
  • Engage in new business partnerships
  • Manage investment returns, including sales
  • Provide support to international branches
  • Fulfill any other assigned responsibilities from supervisors or the managing director

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma qualification
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar field
  • Prior exposure to financial institutions or fund management is a must
  • Preference for candidates with investment background in real estate firms (brokerage experience not considered)
  • Strong bilingual communication skills (English & Japanese at a professional level, N2 certification or higher) to interact with both language speakers and Japanese associates
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with reading financial balance sheets and reports
  • Keenness to learn, quick grasp of new concepts, and a strong sense of accountability
  • Effective time management and prioritization abilities
  • Attention to accuracy and detail
