Job Description

Summary of the Job:

Veolia is seeking a Leader in the role of senior process engineer to join the team of experts. Together, we boast over 450 years of combined experience among 17 professionals in the Director of Global Process Engineering group. This role involves close collaboration with the Technical Director – Global Microelectronics to achieve business objectives effectively. The ideal candidate exhibits strong leadership, motivation skills, and provides technical guidance to drive product development, design, and training initiatives globally. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), the candidate mentors process engineers and multifunctional teams, ensuring optimal solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with regional process leaders, engineers, and sales for project alignment and execution.
  • Facilitate discussions with regional teams for consensus on optimal solutions meeting customer needs.
  • Conduct technoeconomic modeling for system selection.
  • Lead process reviews and document observations, action items, and solutions.
  • Develop and update process design guidelines, share experiences, and provide training.
  • Participate in technical discussions, pilot tests, and system evaluations.
  • Collaborate with multifunctional groups to develop new solutions and products.

Qualifications

Hard Skills:

  • Technical expertise in Microelectronics market segment.
  • Business acumen to propose solutions adding value to customers.
  • 3rd Party technology knowledge and software understanding.
  • Ability to integrate unit operations into complex process flowsheets.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent.
  • Masters in Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years' engineering experience, with specialized knowledge in ultrapure water and wastewater treatment for the Microelectronics Industry.
  • Experience with projection software and fluent in English.

  • Remote or regional office based, with international travel up to 15-30%.
