How You Will Achieve It

General responsibilities include:

  • Conduct analytical testing
  • Troubleshoot and rectify technical issues pertaining to equipment and tests
  • Calibrate/maintain equipment assigned
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safe working environment
  • Maintain/manage general lab inventory (e.g. Reference Standard, Chemical or Consumable Inventory)
  • Write/revise procedures, user guide
  • Participate in assigned committees (e.g. Safety committee, License holder, etc)
  • Participate in projects
  • Participate in internal/external audits
  • Participate in laboratory/safety investigations
  • Perform peer review for solutions prepared in the laboratory
  • Conduct equipment training
  • Participate in equipment qualification
  • Manage own time, professional development and be accountable for own results

Qualifications:

Must-Have

  • Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or related fields
  • Minimum 1 year relevant laboratory working experience, in a similar field
  • Knowledge in Microsoft office (such as Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow procedures
  • Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills within a diverse team setting
Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in a GMP environment/ALCOA
  • Knowledge in analytical instrument and Empower 3 will be an added advantage
