Roles & Responsibilities

The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation, and evaluation activities at the SingHealth Regional Health System. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will be in charge of strategically planning and executing CPHRI's diverse programs, as well as supporting the center's operations. Your role will involve aiding in the conceptualization of research and crafting grant proposals. This encompasses managing the SingHealth Regional Health System center grant, externally funded grants, and research grants bestowed upon CPHRI.

You will supervise research compliance and data governance while generating papers, reports, and other essential documents to keep funders, SingHealth management, and external stakeholders updated. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior team members. Your duties entail designing, coordinating, and overseeing events like scientific symposiums, training workshops, and similar activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, Life Sciences, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or a related academic field with a minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience
  • Candidates holding a PhD are preferred
  • Exceptional project management expertise with a track record of managing and overseeing administrative projects
  • Outstanding written and oral communication abilities
  • Robust analytical skills and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
  • Proficient in navigating through complex, uncertain, and demanding scenarios
  • Team-oriented individual with the proficiency to handle cross-functional and institutional relationships
