Purpose

Design and architect Service Assurance platform, implement and manage daily operations of the platform for network services monitoring and analytics on multi-cloud environment

Subject matter expert in Service Assurance with adoption of best practices for service resiliency, operational efficiency and cost efficiency


Work alongside Network engineering teams to develop, test, deliver, and maintain use cases deployed on Service Assurance platform as part of our transformation initiative.


Responsibilities:

Propose, design and implement suitable solutions and tools to deliver Service Assurance to fulfill business and operations requirements

Investigate, analyse, and resolve technical problems in Service Assurance platform, in relation to use case delivery, integration framework, service availability, security requirements, standard compliance and platform configurations

Prepare business cases and presentations for new solutions and/or change requests

Analyse new requirements, propose and deliver change and/or new technologies for continuous enhancement to operations

Formulate roadmaps for Service Assurance platform

Liaise with vendors on technical proposals and commercial quotations; prepare the necessary purchase requisitions

Provide consultation or technical advice/suggestions to users on Service Assurance platform and related systems

Prepare policies governing day-to-day operations of systems, change request management and project execution

Support daily operation and maintenance of systems, including troubleshooting, backup, upgrades, etc

Prepare requirement specifications, architecture diagrams, management presentations, user guides and training documentation

Make decisions within authorization and own the outcomes

Drive and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to deliver meaningful use cases for operational efficiency

Lead/ Mentor team members to manage projects and operate the Service Assurance platform

Qualifications:

Appropriate qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent

5 to 7 years of relevant experiences in telco OSS domain solution implementation and maintenance

At least 3 years of experiences as System Architect in system design, planning and integrations

Experiences to lead, implement and operate telco OSS and Service Assurance solutions

Strong hands-on experiences in OSS domain, focused on Service Assurance and telco network monitoring domains, including requirement analysis, design and planning, system integration and testing, stakeholder management and project management skills

Experiences with data streaming, SNMP, telemetry, Kafka, REST, SQL, etc

Experiences with telco network data including logs, performance, alarms, events, topology, etc

Experiences with Agile or DevOps methodology

Strong knowledge in Operating System etc. Linux

Strong knowledge in Business Process Model and Notation (BPNM) and workflow automation

Knowledge of telco network including NFV, SDN, 3GPP, Mobile (5G/4G), Fixed, IP and TV networks

Knowledge of TM Forum standards and API integrations

Knowledge of closed loop operations for telco networks

Experiences with Elastic Stack, IBM SevOne and database will be advantageous

Programming experiences (Java/Python/Perl/Shell Scripts) will be advantageous
