Art Director (12 Months Contract)

Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We're seeking dynamic individuals to join our team and assist our valued clients in the fintech sector.

As the Senior Designer, your role involves enhancing the visuals and concepts of design with a profound understanding of user preferences. You excel in teamwork, possess strong problem-solving skills, embrace diverse viewpoints, and thrive on achieving creative excellence.

Role:

  • Collaborate with the team on implementing designs across various elements such as EDM, White Paper design, social content design, and marketing design.
  • Engage and collaborate with clients' marketing, branding, creative, and technical teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, and more.
  • Generate innovative ideas that resonate with users through interactive design driven by quality.
  • Conceptualize and execute ideas efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Create original interactive visuals that are both innovative and aligned with the client's business, brand, and strategic goals.
  • Foster client relationships and leverage business acumen to expand accounts wherever possible.

You:

  • Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in agencies, financial firms, and high-growth tech companies.
  • A versatile designer skilled in visual design, UI design, concept development, rapid prototyping, system design, brand identity, product design, and typography.
  • A multifaceted designer proficient in Figma, encompassing components, styles, layer management, and the creation of scalable design systems.
  • View yourself not only as a designer but also as a creative thinker, passionate about generating and refining ideas.
  • Dedicated to delivering top-tier work while collaborating with team members to innovate, keep pace with new media formats, and integrate them into designs.
  • Possess keen attention to detail, with a sharp eye for layout, color, composition, and typography.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably fluent in an Asian language to support projects across APAC.
