JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role at NBCUniversal's Audience Insights & Analytics department in APAC, you will contribute to the success of the Global Networks, Direct-to-Consumer, and TV Distribution (TVD) content licensing businesses. Your responsibilities will involve tracking content performance, providing strategic analysis, and gathering market-based intelligence to drive success in the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Cross-Platform Insights: Dive into audience data to uncover insights across linear and digital platforms in APAC using tools like iTVR, Fusion, and Arianna.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather research on competitive landscapes and programming trends to offer strategic guidance.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and efficiency in organization and structure for optimal use.
  • Data Interpretation: Use data to understand audience behaviors and derive insights for strategic planning.
  • Compelling Storytelling: Create engaging, data-driven presentations to support TVD and Networks.
  • Process Optimization: Innovate report generation processes for maximum efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of media research experience preferably in a content distributor/studio, broadcast, cable network, or OTT platform.
  • Familiarity with linear TV, digital research terminology, and media landscape changes.
  • Numerical, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for compelling storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Passion for video content and its audience impact.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Comfort with SQL, VBA, and familiarity with Python, R.
  • Experience with ratings software/tools like iTVR, Fusion, and Arianna.
