Responsibilities:

  • Assist Engineers with mechanical job scope, Carry out various roles in production work, in_house_ and onsite
  • Set up, operate, and maintain conventional lathe machines/drilling machine/Milling Machine. Perform simple troubleshooting of these machines as per company standard procedures, etc. To receive job piece, read drawing or draw from sample to machine, assembled and reproduce parts as required.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain all measuring equipment, gauges, and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks
  • Conduct inprocess inspection and final checks on work
  • Tidy up workplace and conduct regular area cleaning to maintain good hygiene standards and safe working environment

Job Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Requirements NITEC in Precision Engineering / Mechanical or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of working experience in mechanical/electrical assembly.
  • Knowledge of design, usage, repair and maintenance of conventional lathe machines and tooling.
  • Understanding of Basic drawing and able to follow samples given will be helpful to have
  • Adhere to good quality, housekeeping, and safety practices
