Objective:

In this internship role, the selected intern will be responsible for various tasks within the QC Raw Material Lab operations & Quality Systems. These tasks include conducting chemical analyses, performing equipment calibration/maintenance, reviewing records, managing logbooks, supporting Document Management Systems, and other assigned duties.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis of water, cleaning, and incoming raw material samples.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tests in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Conduct equipment calibration and maintenance.
  • Review/approve QC records and logbooks.
  • Update SOPs and forms.
  • Handle waste safely and ensure proper disposal, thereby maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Provide necessary support for document archival activities, project preparation, and inspection readiness.
  • Assist in managing logbooks and Document Management Systems, including document archival and GxP record retention.

General Responsibilities:

  • Implement 5S and maintain cleanliness in the Raw Material Lab area.
  • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives like GEMBA and GMP walks.
  • Support QC Supervisor in internal and external compliance audits.
  • Comply with relevant EHS requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect towards others and exhibit behavior aligned with Takeda's Code of Conduct.
  • Execute any additional tasks delegated by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Educational background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or equivalent field.
  • Passionate about working in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Good analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
