Welder shall be responsible for preparing the welding machine for use, including program /adjust welding parameter, setting up all electrical and purge line connections, selection of the weld head and clamps, tungsten preparation and installation and maintaining welding logs

  • Welding stainless steel tubing and associated components using orbital welding machine.
  • Assists fitup and site installation.
  • Assist in NDT process, hydrostatic and tolerance tests on welded parts to verify weld quality and conformance to specification.
  • Maintain good housekeeping at workplace all the time.
  • Perform other duties as and when required by your superior.
  • Able to perform welding operation under extreme conditions at limited workspace.

Requirements:

  • Basic TIG welding skill
  • Orbital welding
  • Able to read technical drawings.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Secondary education
  • Orbital Welding certificate would be an advantage
