As the Senior Business Development Manager for GI Agents, you play a crucial role in the digital insurance team, collaborating closely with internal and external partners in the digital insurance sector to drive the entity's growth strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with a network of GI Agents through regular updates and interactions
  • Provide training, sales support, and act as the key contact for the assigned GI Agents network
  • Facilitate sales and quotation requests between internal and external stakeholders across all lines of business to boost business generation
  • Proactively interact with the assigned GI Agents network by conducting regular business performance reviews, sales pipeline assessments, and sharing best practices
  • Take ownership of end-to-end business outcomes, including GI Agents recruitment and service-related issues
  • Ensure compliance of GI Agents with GIA and Company guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the General Insurance industry
  • Sound understanding of various general insurance products and the agents market
  • At least 3 years of experience in GI business development and underwriting
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Good grasp of agency management and framework
  • Certified in BCP, PGI, HI, and Comm GI
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
