  • Plan, lead and manage QA/QC Engineer(s) for the project(s) undertaken, manage a mega project.
  • Conduct Internal Quality Audits and Project Quality Audits.
  • Review of the Quality Management System, Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans, QC Guidelines, Method Statement, etc.
  • Conduct experiments, propose new material/procedures and come up with innovative solutions.
  • Assess site operations and procedures daily and recommend improvement actions, ensuring that the internal quality systems are in place.
  • Set up systems for new trades/work processes.
  • Manage project stakeholders (client, consultants) on quality related issues.
  • Cultivate a quality mindset among the production team.
  • Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
  • Obtain buyin from project team towards quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
  • Translate deep understanding of quality standards and requirements into site works.
  • Improvement of work processes, productivity, IDD and BIM.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related field
  • Experience: At least 9 years of building and/or civil engineering experience (Experience in QA/QC and certified auditors would have an added advantage)
  • Completed at least 3 building/civil project
  • Knowledge of quality requirement of BCA, industry norms and contract specifications
