Team Overview
The Ad Data team plays a vital role in the decision-making process for millions of advertisers on Bytedance. They are responsible for continuous innovation to manage intricate systems at scale and accommodate the expanding needs of advertisers. If you join this team, you'll shape the technical roadmap for advanced Ad Data products alongside a group of top-notch professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and data analysts to develop data products.
- Engage with engineers, product managers, and product analysts to comprehend data requirements.
- Enhance data expertise and ensure data quality in specific domains.
- Create and implement new data ETL processes in production.
- Maintain existing streaming and batch systems in production, addressing on-call matters.
- Establish and oversee SLA for all data sets in assigned areas.
- Coordinate with data infrastructure to address infrastructure issues effectively.
- Support daily project management and mentor junior engineers in technical challenges.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data warehouse management.
- Minimum 5 years of expertise in custom ETL design and maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in schema design and data modeling.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL queries.
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong communication skills, with a knack for deriving and conveying data-driven insights.
- Ability to articulate and execute data warehouse strategies internally.
