The National Institute of Education in Singapore offers programmes in teacher education specialized in physical education (PE) and the Sport Science & Management (SSM) undergraduate programme, providing pathways to careers in sports. Postgraduate programmes also offer opportunities for PE teachers and sports practitioners to enhance their professional knowledge. The institute boasts an international faculty with diverse expertise, aiming to nurture independent, critical, and creative thinkers in the fields of physical education and sports. Faculty members have access to state-of-the-art sports science laboratories and facilities.

We are seeking Assistant/Associate Professors specialized in sports injury rehabilitation, musculoskeletal health, and secondary expertise in sports biomechanics, strength and conditioning, or exercise physiology.

Requirements
  • A PhD in sports medicine, sports injuries, or related fields
  • A strong research record with ability to secure grants and publish in reputable journals
  • Proven excellence in teaching and research, preferably at a reputable institution
  • Experience in teaching, supervising graduate students, research management, and curriculum development
  • Clinical experience in sports injuries management and rehabilitation
  • Understanding of sports injuries, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation industry
Responsibilities
  • Teach sports injuries courses and related subjects
  • Supervise students, engage in research, and administrative tasks
