What you do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of regional and global accounts for NBFIs/Banks through insightful and timely credit analysis.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to support client strategies and conduct due diligence.
  • Structure credit facilities with risk mitigants and make credit approval recommendations.
  • Ensure timely reviews of credit ratings and compliance with internal policies.
  • Keep updated on industry news and monitor risk triggers.
  • Ensure new transactions meet risk criteria and compliance.
  • Participate in reviews of counterparty rating models.
  • Recommend credit terms in documentation.
  • Support team projects and strategic initiatives.

Regulatory and Business Conduct:

  • Exhibit exemplary conduct and uphold the highest ethical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and the Group's Code of Conduct.
  • Identify and resolve risk and compliance matters effectively.
Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Holds a relevant degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of credit experience in banks/financial institutions.
  • Strong analytical skills in credit risk assessment.
  • Understanding of financial statement analysis and banking products.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of loan documentation and communication skills.

The GFI Group manages OCBC's global relationships with banks and non-bank FIs. The Credit Analyst team collaborates with various teams and functions to support Financial Institutions globally:

  • Establish mutual banking facilities.
  • Facilitate trade transactions.
  • Provide cash management solutions.
  • Offer funding and structured finance solutions.
  • Work with Group Treasury for treasury solutions.
  • Identify and manage banking partners for services.
  • Engage in additional business activities as required.
