Job Overview

The MEP Engineer holds accountability for all mechanical and electrical engineering tasks, processes, and project construction activities.

The ideal candidate must:

· Support the Project Manager in project scheduling, coordination, and supervision of M&E operations for project progress;

· Track and update project advancement to the project manager regularly;

· Manage the scheduling of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions, and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Status to ensure timely project completion;

· Collaborate with client representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on technical aspects, encompassing method statement submissions, drawings, materials, samples, and work status;

· Ensure alignment of mechanical and electrical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes with the Company's policies and objectives;

· Conduct inspections of MEP operations before concreting or subsequent construction phases;

· Aid in overseeing and coordinating MEP services in close collaboration with other departments;

· Participate in project review, site, design meetings, and other relevant project discussions;

· Lead M&E technical meetings and address technical issues with documented resolutions;

· Manage M&E drawing coordination and the quality production of CSD and individual service drawings;

· Conduct QA/QC inspections, oversee RE and RTO, and ensure timely clearance of QA/QC checks as per the construction timetable;

· Maintain up-to-date site inspection records and T&C records;

· Ensure quality workmanship of MEP projects and adherence to safety and environmental guidelines

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering recognized by PE Board Singapore;

· At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Singapore's building and construction sector;

· Electrical/Mechanical Engineering background in HDB projects or high-rise developments;

· Proficient Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with practical experience;

· Excellent communication skills to liaise with on-site teams for task execution
