Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor transactional collaterals forCommodity Finance/Structured Finance transactions.
- Responsible for transactional and operational integrityof the credit facility structures especially in areas of settlementrisk, operational risk, and performance risk.
- Review Summary and Control Sheets on workability ofgoverning terms and conditions of the facilitystructures.
- Perform Mark to Market valuations,monitor cash collateral requirements and follow up on top-ups fortransactions that are under-collateralised.
- Monitor Loan to Value ratios to ensure financing withinstipulated threshold and conduct margin calls whenevernecessary.
- Update key transactional detailsinto ST Connect for monitoring of exposures and facility limitsmanagement.
- Monitor hedged positions andliaise with Treasury and Markets and Relationship Managers on topups.
- Alert Relationship Managers and CreditRisk Managers of any potential risks which might endanger theunderlying asset or identify the source of repayment in a timelymanner.
- Assist to solicit new deals withinapproved and available limits through daily contact with theclients and to follow up on relationships and marketing callsjointly with Relationship Managers whenever required.
- Collaborate with Regional Trade Operations Team andProduct Managers in the review of new trade products rollout,guidelines revision and implementation.
- Accompany Credit Risk Manager and Relationship Manager onlocal or overseas site visits whenever necessary.
- Mentorship to new entrant and deputize the Team Leader asand when required.
- Participate in process flowimprovements, system enhancements, live verifications and any otherinitiatives asassigned.
Requirements
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance ora relevant field
- 5-12 years of experience inCommodity Trade Finance Middle Office, Front Office, or CommodityTrading Houses.
- Must be attentive to detailswith good analytical skills and the ability to understand theintrinsic transactional risks.
- Collaboratorwith strong organisational and interactive skills.
- Knowledge in Warehouse Financing, Storage Tank Financing,Borrowing Based Financing and Revolving Credit Finance,preferably.
- Sound knowledge of trade-basedrules such as UCP600, ISBP745, URC525 and Incoterms2021.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word,PowerPoint
