PRESCHOOL SECURITY SUPERVISOR
  • SALARY: $3.5k - $5.5k
  • WORKING HOURS: 7AM - 7PM
  • LOCATIONS: VARIOUS LOCATIONS


The Preschool Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of children, staff, and visitors within the preschool premises. This role involves monitoring security operations, enforcing safety protocols, and responding to emergencies. Ex or retired police officers are preferred due to their experience in security management and crisis handling.

Key Responsibilities1. Security & Safety Management
  • Ensure the security of the preschool premises, including monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Conduct regular security checks and patrols to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and emergency procedures.
  • Monitor CCTV surveillance and investigate any suspicious activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and licensing requirements.
2. Emergency Preparedness & Response
  • Develop and conduct emergency drills, including fire evacuation and lockdown procedures.
  • Act as the first responder in case of security threats or emergencies.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  • Provide first aid assistance when required.
3. Staff & Visitor Management
  • Oversee visitor registration and screening processes to maintain a safe environment.
  • Ensure all staff, parents, and authorized personnel adhere to security protocols.
  • Conduct safety briefings and training for staff on security awareness and procedures.
4. Risk Assessment & Incident Reporting
  • Identify potential security risks and recommend preventive measures.
  • Maintain records of security incidents, accidents, and disciplinary actions.
  • Investigate security breaches and provide reports to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Ex/retired police officer or relevant security experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in security supervision, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency response, and crisis management.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally.
