Legal Secretary

We are currently looking for a Legal Secretary with relevant qualifications and experience needed to provide secretarial support to our law firm.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Administrative support to lawyers/directors: managing schedules, calendar, calls, travel bookings, appointment reservations and recurring commitments
- Legal file management: organising file lists, maintaining calendars and deadlines for matters.
- Document management: organisation of documents, emails, and correspondence
- Document processing: proofreading, formatting, creating and editing PDF documents, engrossing letters, compiling bundles etc.
- Managing contact and client lists
- Assisting with e-litigation (Court filings and calendar) and searches (high court, e-lit, ACRA, ICMS, SLA Title search etc)
- Perform conflict checks
- Other office support activities as assigned
Requirements
- With prior experience in the related field
- Knowledge and familiarity with e-Litigation systems preferable
- Proficient in working with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook)
- Independent and meticulous
- Fluent in English, excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player, meticulous, efficient & organised
- Work location: CBD Area
- Working hours: 9am – 6pm. Mondays to Friday
- Able to start work immediately will be an advantage.
