  • Identify potential risks and delays in project schedules, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive management to keep projects on track.
  • Regularly monitor and report on project progress, ensuring compliance with the project schedule. Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth execution of the project plan and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues.
  • Ensure that all project-related documentation, including schedules, reports, and change orders, is accurately maintained and updated in line with the project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to track project costs, identify discrepancies between the budget and actual performance, and adjust the schedule and resource plan as needed.
  • Assess the impact of changes in project scope, design, or resources and make adjustments to schedules and plans to accommodate these changes.
  • Analyze the performance of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the construction industry.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects, including civil, infrastructure, or building construction projects.
  • Strong proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling tools.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Ability to think critically, analyze data, and identify solutions to scheduling challenges.


Working Conditions:

Occasional travel to project sites as needed.

Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Some flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate project timelines and deadlines.
