Tunnel Engineer (CRL MRT project)

Our client is a reputable A1 main contractor with a strong portfolio of large scale infrastructure construction projects. They’re now looking for a Tunnel Engineer to join their team for their CRL project, marking an exciting phase in their growth and continued impact on Singapore's infrastructure landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and engineering of tunnel structures, including reviewing technical drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor the Electrical & Mechanical Systems equipment during tunneling operations
  • Prepare and submit method statements for EMS and associated activities
  • Develop and execute methods for reconciling excavated material.
  • Take charge of preparation and documentation of results from muck reconciliation
  • Monitor project progress and address technical challenges promptly.
  • Provide engineering solutions for tunneling methods such as cut-and-cover, bored, or micro-tunneling and monitor trend graphs
  • Perform regular inspections of equipment and implement quality control measures.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

  • Degree/diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in tunneling works
  • Must possess experience with LTA projects
