Roles & Responsibilities

Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) is Singapore’s national association for company directors. Formed in 1998, its mission is to uplift the directorship profession and champion good governance. Its membership comprises board directors, company leaders, and professionals with an interest in corporate governance. A Governing Council guides the direction and work of the organisation, and SID Committees comprise industry professionals, academics and corporate governance experts.


The Accreditation & Professional Development team, which you will be a part of, oversees the development of accreditation frameworks and tools, as well as SID’s professional development curriculum. The team supports the strengthening of SID's positioning in the market as a thought leader for all things directorship and/or governance, and a standard bearer for good governance.


Responsibilities:


You will support the professional development team with programme Support for the following programmes, but not limited to:

· Listed Entity Director Programme

· Board Readiness Programme

· Chairperson Accelerator Programme


The supported need includes:

1. Pre-Event Logistics:

  • Coordinate with speakers and knowledge partners to gather presentation materials.
  • Prepare introductory decks, attendance sheets, evaluation forms, looping slides, and event notifications.
  • Compile and prepare namelists and nametags.


2. Post-Event Support:

  • Assist with the analysis of post-event evaluation data.


3. General Event Support:

  • Co-host webinars.
  • Provide onsite support during events.
  • Source for suitable venue and get quotations for comparison


4. Communication and Coordination:

  • Answer basic queries via the SID hotline.
  • Liaise with speakers and knowledge partners.


Requirements:


● Min Diploma in any discipline

● Proficient in MS Office applications

● Organised and meticulous

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● WIllingness to learn

● Prior experience in training administration is a plus
