Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Prepare data and analyse data sets for actionable insights and generate Power BI reports to support strategic & operational decision-making process.
  • Understand business operations and its relationship to the transactional data and master data generated in SAP as a result of its activities.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL processes, data models and data warehousing solutions) from various enterprise resource systems such as SAP and publish data accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilise data orchestration tools and Python to extract, transform and load data into SQL Server database for analytics.
  • Integrate data warehouse to Power BI service and develop data model for analytics reporting.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports that provide insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business functions to develop meaningful business reports & models.
  • Create self-serviced data that is well documented and well architecture in data model to enable users to be self-reliant in data extraction and data exploration.


Prerequisites

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a data-driven role such as data analyst, financial analyst, or operations analyst.
  • Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Data Modeling and Visualization with BI and data analysis tools such as MS Excel, Power B, SQL, Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge for querying databases, writing complex queries, and extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and generate meaningful business insights.
  • Strong critical thinking skills for tackling business problems with data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate complex data insights in a clear, concise, and actionable way to non-technical stakeholders.
