The Luo lab in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University is looking for one highly motivated, goal-driven, and team-oriented Research Fellow to join our collaborative team. Research in the lab is focused on understanding fundamental mechanisms of RNA virus replication and structure guided antiviral development using interdisciplinary approaches ranging from biochemistry, structural biology, virology and cell biology. NTU Institute of Structural Biology provides an excellent infrastructure for high-resolution cryo-EM/ET, X-ray crystallography, NMR and other biophysical equipment. We invite one Research Fellow to join the lab to conduct competitive research.

Key Competencies and Requirements: ​

  • Interested candidates should have recently finished or will soon complete their PhD degree
  • Strong research experience and track record in Cryo-EM/Crystallography
  • Experience with protein expression and purification in various systems is required
  • Experience in medicinal chemistry, virology, cell biology or membrane protein biochemistry is a plus
