Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned project/structured finance professional to join our Client Coverage Group (“CCG”) team. This is a unique opportunity for candidates who are excited by the prospects of joining a fast-growing business with strong financial support.

Reporting to the Head of Energy & Utilities, the incumbent will be responsible for client coverage as well as origination and execution of project and structured finance transactions in the Energy & Utilities vertical.

The incumbent will work closely with the sector head in maintaining primary coverage for the sector. He/She will take an active hands-on role in client engagement, origination of new primary transactions, and lead deal execution which will entail structuring, arranging, credit analysis, due diligence and documentation for relevant deals in the sector until financial close is achieved. Where relevant, he/she will also work closely with our colleagues in the Markets and Investor Services team in the distribution of loan assets across various channels


Knowledge/ Experience Required:

  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant project/structured finance experience across various infrastructure sectors, including in the Energy & Utilities sector
  • Proven track record in originating new business
  • Strong structuring, credit and negotiation skills
  • In-depth understanding of project and corporate finance structures, terms, cash flow models and documentation
  • Good judgement and strategic outlook
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Highly motivated and strong prioritization capabilities
  • Takes ownership of agreed upon targets and deliverables with a passion for excellence
  • Constructive team player; interacts well with internal colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong client orientation; engages well with senior client representatives
