Roles & Responsibilities

Jobscope:

  • Quality Control Oversight – Ensure raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products meet quality standards through inspections and testing.
  • QC Laboratory Management – Plan and manage daily QC lab operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement – Analyze test data to identify trends, improve production processes, and enhance quality systems.
  • Product Acceptability Assessment – Review test results and approve only products that meet required specifications.
  • Non-Conforming Product Management – Evaluate non-conforming products and collaborate with other departments to implement corrective actions.
  • Customer Complaint Handling – Assist in investigating and resolving product quality complaints by identifying root causes and corrective measures.
  • QC Reporting – Compile and issue accurate quality control reports for internal review and customer documentation.
  • Work Method & Inspection Plan Review – Regularly assess and optimize inspection plans and testing methods for continuous process improvement.
  • New Product & Equipment Testing – Oversee testing of new products and ensure proper setup and calibration of laboratory equipment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Honours Degree in a relevant science discipline
  • Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC functions in chemical, pharmaceutical or similar industry
  • Experience in laboratory management
  • Possess strong analytical thinking skills and good attention to details
